    (Mainz, 26.08.2005) In der politischen Stimmung gleicht die SPD ihre Verluste der Vorwoche wieder etwas aus und kommt jetzt auf 30 Prozent (plus 2). Die CDU/CSU bleibt unverändert bei 44 Prozent, die Grünen kommen nur noch auf 8 Prozent (minus 1), die FDP auf 7 Prozent (minus 1) und die Linkspartei.PDS muss mit 7 Prozent ein weiteres Mal Einbußen hinnehmen (minus 1).


    Wenn schon am nächsten Sonntag wirklich Bundestagswahl wäre, kämen längerfristige Überzeugungen und Bindungen an die Parteien sowie taktische Überlegungen der Wähler etwas stärker zur Geltung. Dies berücksichtigt die Politbarometer-Projektion: Die SPD käme danach auf 30 Prozent (plus 1), die CDU/CSU auf 43 Prozent (unverändert), die Grünen nur noch auf 8 Prozent (minus 1), die FDP und die Linkspartei.PDS erhielten jeweils unverändert 8 Prozent. Die sonstigen Parteien zusammen erreichten konstant 3 Prozent. Eine Koalition aus CDU/CSU und FDP hätte weiter eine Mehrheit im Bundestag."
